Meet the Artist

Elizabeth Tubman is a mixed media artist based in Appleton, Wisconsin. She uses with charcoal, acrylics, inks, and oil. Each piece begins with an abstract underpainting before the final image is pulled from this layer using oils.

She is known for the colorful abstract brushstrokes and drips that surround the subjects in her paintings. Each piece glows with light and joy, bringing a piece of Life itself to the viewer.
